Chapter Seven - Leave A Lasting Legacy

2.Appraisal: Once you understand, ignorance is no longer an option. You have to choose how you will respond. The power of choice is a God-given gift.

3.Action: Doing is the cement that holds your purpose intact. I do and I become.

Spiritual Situational Awareness is a vital daily discipline for me that keeps me abiding in

1.Awareness: I paint a mental picture of being a leaf on the Vine. I ask myself, am I staying grafted or am I trying to do things my way? I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing

(Jo 15:5).

2.Appraisal: Am I staying conscious of my attitude, abiding in Jesus, and bringing my thoughts and purposes captive to the obedience of my Lord Jesus? …bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Co 10:5).

3.Action: The music I listen to, the friends I keep, the movies I watch, and the words I say will line up with His Word and His Will. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you (Jo 15:14).
