Chapter Five - Make A Path; Leave A Trail

Jesus loves you with a love second to none. Jesus loves you with a love that cannot be matched or imitated in all life. Close your eyes for a moment and reflect on this. Think of how much He loves only you. How have you experientially felt, seen, or understood Jesus’ love for you?

I felt His unconditional love when Joy told me she’d love me even if I was in prison for murder. The best way she could describe how much she cared was to think of me in the worst way possible. Which friendships in your life demonstrate this depth of love?

The spark of divinity is that place in our spirit where God meets you and you meet your dream, calling, or purpose. The gifts and calling of God are irrevocable. They are already there waiting to be worked out. For gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable (Ro 11:29). Some people see their dreams and callings, but never see God. Some see God, but never see their dreams. Some see both. Have you seen your spark of divinity?

You are unique, your calling is unique, and mentoring brings it out. In which friendships do you feel safe enough to be yourself? Who brings out the best in you? Do you bring out the best in your friends?

God is love; God is unique; you were made in His likeness. God loves you with an authentic love, and He made you unique! God, His love, and you are second to none!

Now concerning things offered to idols: We know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love edifies (1 Co 8:1).

“Go confidently in the direction of your dream. Live the life you have imagined.”
