…is to teach you to declare your prayer before the Lord, so that you can develop your relationship first with Christ – and then others. Our vision is to see your prayer answered resulting from lining up your heart, mind and mouth with God’s Word and declaring it. Prayer is the foundation upon which the Kingdom of God is built. In Jeremiah 1:12 God announces “I am alert and active, watching over My Word to perform it”. When we declare a prayer according to God’s Word, we give God exactly what He needs to give us exactly what we want. This is not mind over matter or wanting things your way. You are lining up your will with God’s will.

God’s Word is God’s will. When you ask for things according to God’s Word, you can be assured it is according to God’s will. Speaking God’s Word forth brings His Life and healing Presence into situations that can be otherwise confusing and devastating.

Our value statement is that we hold the Bible as our ultimate and absolute authority. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness…” 2 Timothy 3:16 We believe God created all mankind and that His Word has the answer to every problem facing every person everywhere, regardless of religious or ethnic background. “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Proverbs 18:21

1 Peter 4:7 proclaims, “The end of the world is coming soon,” leaving us with four important instructions:
  • Love each other deeply.
  • Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.
  • Use whatever gifts we are given to serve others.
  • Be earnest and disciplined in your prayers.
God has given us specific instructions to carry out in the last days. Today we are living in that time. Declare Your Prayer was created to empower believers to pray with confidence, knowing God hears our prayers and He will give us exactly what we ask for according to His Word of promise.

God’s Word is His will. 2 Peter 1:4 says He has given us all His exceedingly rich and wonderful promises. He wants us to make every effort to apply the benefits of these promises to our lives. The greatest way we can apply the benefits of these wonderful promises to our lives is to pray them.

In Isaiah 62:6, God says “I will never hold my peace day and night. By my prayers I put the Lord in remembrance of His promises.” God instructed us to be earnest in our prayers and not to keep silent, but by prayer, put Him in remembrance of His promises.

Ephesians 6:17-18 tells us that God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. It is the sword of the Spirit. We need to pray in the Spirit at all times on every occasion, and in every season.

To secure our prayers being answered, Mark 11:23-24 tells of our responsibilities:
  • Have faith in God.
  • Believe that we have received the things we ask for in prayer.
  • Forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against.
“The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” James 5:16 You will see your prayers answered as you line up your will with God’s Word. Be patient, waiting for God’s timing. You can pray for something according to the will of God, but until His timing is right, you will not see the physical manifestation of your answer. God says in His Word, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of thing not seen.” Real faith brings you into the rest of God, so waiting on God should be a place of pleasant repose, not frustration. Remember that faith is a rest, not a struggle. God will bring His Word to pass!
