We have a Godly marriage. We have become one; Your love, Lord God, has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. You instruct, teach and guide us by the Holy Spirit in every area of our marriage. Our marriage grows stronger every day because it is based on Your Word. We are rooted and grounded in Your love. We are of one mind, compassionate, loving and courteous toward one another. Our marriage is strong and provides a balanced, loving and fulfilling sexual life in a world of sexual disorder. We respect each other and dwell in peace; therefore, our prayers are not hindered in any way.

We set our wills to walk in the God kind of love. We endure long. We are patient and kind. Neither of us is envious nor jealous; we trust each other completely. We do not boast, nor desire self-glory. We are not proud. We are never rude, unmannerly, or unkind to each other or anyone else. Neither of us insists on having our own way, but yields to the needs and desires of the other. We are not easily offended, touchy or resentful; instead, we are patient, loving and kind. We overlook each other’s faults and shortcomings. We do not hold them against one another knowing that love covers everything. We are truthful with each other at all times. We stand together in hard times bearing each other up. We work together and not against each other. We always look for and believe the best in each other, our children and other people. Our love is always supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting. Our God kind of love for each other will never fail.
